My career in the beauty industry began in Ghana in 2004, where I qualified as a professional nail technician. Over the past twenty years I have built on that foundation in the United Kingdom, training with recognised awarding bodies and working with clients whose standards are high and whose trust has to be earned appointment after appointment.
I continue to invest in my professional development every year, because technique, hygiene standards and client expectations all move forward. Maya Nails and Beauty Studio is the result of that discipline — a salon where clinical standards of cleanliness sit alongside genuine warmth, and where every client is treated as an individual.
